All About Kids of West Fork

Jim Sunderman is a graduate of Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Jim has over 40 years of management experience. Jim and Cathy are also the owners of the All About Kids West Fork location. Jim was the successful owner of an independent grocery store for many years. The grocery business ran in his family and he was the fourth generation to take up the trade. After the family sold the store, Jim was approached with the idea of building a childcare center on the west side of town. He was impressed with the quality of care at All About Kids Liberty Township when he went for a visit and decided that this would be a wonderful opportunity for his family. Jim is very involved at both centers and you will often see Rosie, Jim’s beagle, right by his side while he is working at the center.

Cathy Sunderman graduated from The University of Cincinnati with an associate degree in 1979. Jim and Cathy were married in 1980 and have four daughters and eight grandchildren. She spent many years as a stay-at-home mother and also cared for a few children in her house as well. During this time, she was a Girl Scout leader, softball coach, and girls’ basketball co-coordinator at St. Ignatius School. Cathy worked alongside Jim at the grocery store with their four daughters. After the grocery store was sold, she worked for a major retailer in downtown Cincinnati for 11 years. She now helps out at both daycare centers. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends.

Hi! My name is Jolene and I’m so happy to be a part of All About Kids! I have my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Cincinnati. I have over 35 years of experience in teaching and managing a daycare. I also spent 11 years working with The Cincinnati Public Schools as a para professional with preschoolers who had special needs. I love to help the teachers construct their weekly lesson plans and enjoy seeing the children engaged in hands-on learning activities.

I have lived in Cincinnati all my life and graduated from Oak Hills High School. I love to spend time with my family and friends. My two grandsons keep me busy and I love to spend time with them. You will often hear me talking about my two dogs, Cash and June. In my free time, I also enjoy to the movies, music, shopping, swimming, gardening, and going to Reds games.

Hi!  My name is Cheryl.  I am the Assistant Director and I do occasionally help out in the classrooms.  I am a 2013 graduate from Oak Hills High School.  I have worked with children for many years. I continue to find so much joy in my job each day.  I love working with all of my families and being a part of their child’s journey!

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and friends.  I live with my husband Luke, our sweet boy Dexter, and our 2 cats Jasper and Daenerys.  I also enjoy reading fantasy books, cooking new meals, and going to the movies.

Helping children grow, learn, and reach new milestones is not just my job — it’s my calling. I strive to create a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where every child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to be their best self.

I have worked in childcare for more than 25 years. After running a daycare in my home for several years, I returned to All About Kids in 2024. I truly enjoy my full-time position with infants in Room 1. I firmly believe that “every day presents teaching moments if we embrace it.” I truly love “watching little wheels turn” as they learn and grow.

I have been married to my husband Greg for 30 years. I am a proud Mom of 3 grown sons, Grant, 26, Dylan, 24, and Brady, 18. I have a dog named Moe, and 2 “grand” dogs, Marvin and Larry!

My name is Grace, and I was born in 2003 in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grew up in a large family, surrounded by about 39 grandchildren during my early years. As I grew older, my family continued to expand. Being part of such a big family deepened my understanding of children.

I’ve always enjoyed caring for and holding the younger kids in my family, and I’ve been told I’m a gentle caregiver. Growing up with two older brothers, I was the youngest until I was 10, when my mom had my sister.

My little sister taught me the most about nurturing and teaching children. I was thrilled to have her in my life and became very protective of her. I believe my close-knit family is why I’m so passionate about protecting and caring for children every day. With my own childlike spirit, I love art and many other activities that captivate kids.

My name is Miss. Bella and I have worked at All About Kids since January of 2022. My main room has been Room 2, but I’ve spent a lot of time in the other rooms. I really enjoy art and love to do lots of crafts and sensory projects with the kiddos. I love animals, especially my cat named Kevin. I can’t wait to continue getting to help your children learn and grow!

My name is Christina Smith, I have been married for 9 years.  I live on the Westside of Cincinnati.  We moved to Cincinnati to be closer to our children and grandchildren.  I really enjoy working with children here at All About Kids.  It is very rewarding!

I’m Ms. JJ. I have been a teacher in Room 5 since I started in 2015. I absolutely love this age group. They say the funniest things. I love to get kids thinking and creating.

I foster cats and dogs through Louie’s Legacy. I’m an artist and I love to sew, craft, and create cool things! I do several craft shows every year. I make items for dogs, cats, and pocket pets. I hope to open a pet boutique one day. I love playing video games.

Hello, my name is Ms. Brandi! I have been a pre-k teacher for nearly seven years total now. I have 2 sons, Jackson who is ten, and Dean who is five. We live in Westwood with our two cats, Ty and Ted. I truly love my work at All About Kids! It is my dream job. My favorite hobby is cooking. I also enjoy camping, fishing and being creative with my boys. You will most likely always see me with a smile on my face.

My name is Tutu. I have 3 kids, two boys and one girl. I like to work at All About Kids because I love to work with kiddos and encourage their learning and development.

I have been working at All About Kids for almost 3 years now. I also worked at St. James Daycare Center for 10 years as well as babysat. I love the kids, and the staff here. My current position is working in the kitchen to prepare meals for the kids.

Hi! My name is Tara Stephens and I am very excited to be a part of the All About Kids team! I have worked with children for many years and truly have a passion for childcare. I have three children of my own and they keep me pretty busy. I also have ten cats that I adore. In my spare time I enjoy knitting, cooking, scrap booking, stamp collecting, square dancing and playing video games.
