Kindergarten Classroom

Ages 5-6 years

Our kindergarten program nurtures your child’s love of learning, with a focus on the skills needed for first grade, including reading, writing, and math. Children at this age are inherently inquisitive, and we use this trait to extend their knowledge in both science and social studies.

Classroom Focus

Our Kindergarten Classroom is designed to allow for open-ended exploration, group projects, and teacher-facilitated activities. Our comprehensive integrated curriculum aligns with the state’s early learning and development standards. These standards promote an understanding of the whole child and support all areas of learning.

Kindergarten activities include:

  • Daily exercises for reading, writing, and math
  • Mastering fine-motor skills for writing
  • Group projects to improve problem-solving and communication
  • Science and social studies activities
  • Morning and afternoon outside playtime, where kids can run, climb, and ride bikes
