Classroom Focus

In the Early Preschool Classroom, children receive the individual attention they need to develop the skills necessary for preschool. Children are encouraged to explore their surroundings and taught the beginning fundamentals of reading, writing, and math. All About Kids uses The Creative Curriculum®, a research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning.

Early Preschool activities include:

  • Practicing shapes, colors, numbers, and letters
  • Holding a pencil, using scissors to cut a straight line, and tracing letters and numbers
  • Writing their own name
  • Potty-training
  • Teaching manners, please, and thank you
  • Morning and afternoon outside playtime, where kids can run, climb, and ride bikes
